Yes. After generating, describe changes in the composer at the bottom of the conversation. Each successful revision updates the same activity and uses one AI generation. You can adjust wording, difficulty, grade band, or quiz length (1–10 questions). Start a new activity to change its format. Shared activities must be changed in the editor. Reloading the page restores the latest saved draft, but the conversation itself is not saved.

Generate five-question multiple-choice quizzes with answer keys (refine to 1–10 questions in chat), class polls, discussion prompts, and five-minute bell ringers. Choose a topic and grade band from Pre-K through grade 12. Reveals, merges, and slideshows are available through the manual editor and template library.

No. Generate directly in DailyEd with a teacher account. In-app generation uses Anthropic Claude. You can also connect a compatible external AI assistant using DailyEd’s MCP integration.

Monthly in-app AI generations: Free includes 2, Plus includes 30, and Pro includes 100. Allowances reset on the first of each month at 00:00 UTC. Each successfully saved new activity or chat revision uses one AI generation; refinements update the same activity without using another activity slot. Only successful saves count; deleting an activity does not restore AI allowance. Generated activities also use the overall activity allowance: 5 on Free, 31 on Plus, and unlimited on Pro. In-app AI generation has a limit of 3 requests per minute, 20 per hour, and 50 per day per teacher, plus service-wide capacity limits. Failed requests count toward those rate limits but do not use an activity slot unless an activity was saved.

No. Generated activities are saved privately. Review and edit the content and answer keys before publishing. Publishing creates a student link and makes the activity discoverable in DailyEd public search.

In-app generation sends your topic, selected activity type, and grade band to Anthropic. Chat refinement also sends the current draft’s teaching content and up to six earlier successful requests from the current conversation. It does not send your teacher profile, existing activities, or student responses. Do not include student names, grades, identifiable student work, or other personal information in your topic.

Open your activity and select Share to get a link or share code. Students can join on a phone, tablet, or computer without creating an account or downloading an app.

Open Binder from the navigation bar. Your saved activities are there, including drafts generated with AI. Open an activity to edit, preview, or share it.

Yes. Open it from your Binder to update questions, images, prompts, and settings. Changes save automatically. Review the student preview before sharing.

Publish from the activity editor when it is ready. Published activities become discoverable in the public activity library. Review your content and remove any private information before publishing.

Upload JPG, PNG, or another supported image format in the editor, or use the built-in Unsplash search. Use images you have permission to share with your class.

Open the activity from your Binder and use its delete option. Deleting an AI-generated activity does not restore your monthly AI generation allowance.

Free includes 5 new activities per month, 2 in-app AI generations per month, and up to 10 students per activity. Plus includes 31 activities, 30 AI generations, and up to 50 students per activity. Pro includes unlimited activities and students, with 100 AI generations per month. Generated activities also count toward the overall activity allowance.

AI generation allowances reset on the first of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC. The generator shows your remaining allowance. Successful new generations and chat revisions each count as one AI generation; failed requests and retries of completed requests do not use another generation.

Open Plans & Pricing from your profile menu, or visit the Pricing page to compare your options. Your AI usage carries over when changing plans during the same month; the new plan sets your allowance.

Open your profile menu in the top-right corner and choose the light or dark mode option. Visitors can use the theme button in the site header.

Open your profile menu and select My Profile to update your name and teaching details.
